Hardware
All what’s inside the cabinet are a desktop, wired to an old television and some old computer boxes. Afterwards I also installed a light behind the marquee sticker.

The pictures below shows the circuits, necessary to make the arcade cabinet starts up like a real arcade cabinet.
The computer stays plugged in to the electricity net. All the other hardware will be plugged out the electricity net once the on-off button is switched off.
The television will be turned on with an on-delay relays (± 15 seconds), so you won’t see the BIOS-text at start-up of the computer.
After a while I’ve thrown out the relays and made a circuit board to do all the time delays. The circuit board has all the same possibilities as the relays, but it doesn’t take the space, needed to mount the relays. (and its fancier)
For the lights behind the marquee I’ve found an old led-strip, which runs on 24V, so I also connected a rectifier to have the right voltage.

To make sure the computer won’t heat up to much, I’ve installed two air fans to give some air-cirulation.
